Oh memories....
Every player in WoW eventually gets their first mount. Back in late vanilla when I first started playing WoW you couldn't ride a mount until level 40. I remember the day I finally dinged 40 and flew to Ironforge, then walking south to Steelgrill's Depot. Finally, the time had come for me to pick a mount. But which one? I decided on the Red Mechanostrider, mostly because I was a fire mage at the time.
I remembered how awesome it was to NOT BE WALKING EVERYWHERE!!

First!
You know, I really don't know how to start this off, so I'll just say hi. Hi!
I'm Marconin, a gnome mage living in a world (of warcraft) filled with wonder, mystery and A LOT of people taller than me. What I lack in stature, I make up for in being a decent player. I am also a mount collector. This blog will chronicle my musings about World of Warcraft, with mounts being my focus. At least, that's the idea coming out of the gate.
I currently have 127 mounts, and no, Rivendare's Deathcharger isn't one of them. It is the bane of my digital existence, but hopefully one day I'll get it!
